Requesting tree pruning for a large maple tree, at Duvall Ave/ sidewalk, near 920 Chelan Ave NE, which potentially endangers students from nearby Hilltop Heritage Elementary, Haven High school and residents who walks in the sidewalk several times a day; also endangers vehicles that uses the Duvall Ave NE road, which is an extremely busy road to Bellevue /Seattle area and Issaquah region.
Owner in 920 Chelan AVE NE has privately paid for tree pruning this summer, but tree company has refused to prune the area in the Duvall Ave, relays it is the City of Renton who is responsible for trimming.
Multiple requests since late spring, summer, to no avail. kindly requesting help before any untoward incidents happen to any students, residents or commuters. thank you

I was wondering if it might be possible to have a few areas of tree-root damage fixed on Springbrook Trail? I ride my bike towing my kid in a trailer to his daycare along this trail, and it can be pretty bouncy getting over the buckled asphalt pushed up by tree roots. I've marked the worst root damage instance on the map, but there are a few other places too that would be awesome to fix up. Many Hazen students are walking to school in the morning and at night without adequate lighting and shoulders/sidewalks. It's a busy area during drop offs/pick ups as well as home matches/games. The current bus stop in summerwind isn't close so most kids are choosing to walk to school instead. Another factor to consider is the amount of inexperienced drivers on that portion of the road daily.

Would be a great opportunity when they are building a new house/development nearby that they would bring sidewalks in from sunset to Hazen. Thank you!

On the corner of Park Ave North and North 4th Street next to Sartori Elementary school is a crosswalk.
It is the worst painted crosswalk I've ever seen. Attached is a picture.

Its been this way for several months. Can someone repaint it?

Many high school students use the north side of the school to leave campus such as going home, heading to Renton Memorial Stadium for practice, getting food at Ezell’s or just crossing the street for our walk and jog class, but there are no protected sidewalk to safely cross the street. Our evacuation plan also has us heading to the stadium and there are no protected sidewalk in the area to do so safely. The only sidewalks to get off the block that Renton High sits on is at the corner of S 2nd St and Logan Ave S, two across S 2nd St, and one on the corner of S 2nd St and Lake Ave S. There are no protected crosswalk to cross S Tobin St or Logan Ave S from the north side of the school, at all. Cars are often speeding on these streets because there are no speed bumps or signage of a school zone either. It is very dangerous to not be able cross at the northeast corner of the school safely.

I just hit my head on a branch that was hanging about four head height and I am 6'4". Please the tree shown in the picture trimmed higher. The bus stop seen in the background is on park avenue outside of the bus barn building.

On Anacortes Ave next to the Ace Hardware and across the street at the Kindercare, the street parking needs to have no parking signs posted and possibly painting the curb red so the motorhomes and semi trucks dont park and block the traffic.

This gate is been opened for more than two weeks and is blocking the sidewalk.

Blackberry vines have overgrown the ditch and shoulder on the north side of SE 169th between 113th SE & 114th SE and there is no sidewalk on the opposite side of the street. This neighborhood has many open ditches resulting in narrow streets & shoulders making for unsafe walking conditions in many places. Best case scenario these vines need to be removed permanently. At a minimum these vines need to be cut to the ground monitored and maintained thru the growing season.

The curb lane that paints the designated areas for the metro bus is faded. Sometimes, folks are parked here but the bus stop curb doesn't show where it starts or end.

Requesting for the city to repaint the curb so that it's more visible to the community and drivers.
