As predicted, following Monday's trash pick up, the trash can has joined the recycling bin in the alley. This inhibits vehicles from being able to navigate the narrow alley. My understanding is that trash bins must be stored on the resident's private property - the alley and the sidewalk are both equally inappropriate locations.

I'm more than willing to make new reports for each instance rather than reopening this one if that approach is more conducive to resolving this permanently.

DPW, this is how the same location looked two weeks ago. Not only are the residents storing their cans on public space they have been regularly storing trash outside of the cans. Please take action to assist these residents at 606 M Street, NE comply with sanitation regulations.
