We live alongside the increasingly busy 25MPH Tuolumne St. near Valle Vista. During the past year alone, we have had one car crash into a neighbors garage almost leveling it and very recently another onto a neighbors front yard due to excessive speed and erratic driving. There have also been numerous car accidents. Pets have been killed and injured as well. I am afraid to even take in trash receptacles from Tuolumne because cars have almost hit me by inches while going 50+ MPH and not paying attention. They are constantly crossing the white line between the road and sidewalk. The drivers are becoming more and more aggressive since the pandemic and I am deeply afraid someone is going to be seriously injured or killed next. Our entire neighborhood feels the same way. I understand that there used to be Vallejo Police on motorcycles that would patrol the area for speeders but understand they are stretched very thin these days. We are therefore BEGGING to please have a speed radar display installed in the area especially near the winding part of the road where drivers are losing control of their vehicles and increasing their speed even more. Neighbors I have spoke to including myself have considered moving due to the constant danger and disruption posed by the 25MPH not being enforced. Please help us as soon as possible. Thank you.
