36 hours later not a single city or UI truck is on the scene. How about we rename this "SeeClickIgnore.com"?

Has this issue been addressed yet? I see UI received an email about it...

Don't waste your time...nobody cares. It's been 38 hours and not a single DPW truck or UI tech is on site, despite a major road (Woodward) being totally cut off before the Coast Guard center and in front of East Shore Park. As Joan said, this website may as well be called "SEE CLICK IGNORE", because that's what New Haven (and UI) are doing.

John DeStefano himself came down to visit our now-famous tree and split street sign, and glad-hand and chat with the dozens of Morris Covers who have no power, or accress to Woodward Ave. RESULT? NADA! Still not a single DPW or UI truck showed up to do jack squat. And now I heard that a "communication mixup" between the City and UI was to blame...with each side "waiting" for the other to act. In other words....C Y A - big time. Is that leadership Mr DeStefano? Hardly.
And where in @#$% is Martin Looney? Nowhere...even though he lives a block away from this incident, he hasn't bothered to show. I guess he can only be bothered with shuffling through the Bathroom Bill, and can't be hassled by mere constituent service. Looks like it's time for some fresh blood in the Senate. A real pity since my family helped him for decades.
