This house needs attention to prevent it from looking more blighted. The fence is falling down. the screens are ripped. The shrubs on the corner of Lexington and Georgia are too tall to see over in a sedan at the stop sign. This is dangerous. the shrubs and little trees that sprout up from the liquid amber tree stump should be removed. the stump should be ground down. This place used to be well maintained by its last owner. The new (bank?) owner should do something with it.

A Code Enforcement Officer has inspected the property on 5/2/14 and has sent the owner a notice to fix the violation(s). Since this is private property, the City will seek voluntary compliance (of the violations) from the property owner to fix the violation(s). This process may not yield a quick response, but we do our best to work with the property owner to get the violations corrected. Since this is private property, there is due process involved.
