Hello, I live in a relatively quiet neighborhood in Nipomo. However, we have the Laborer's Union training facility right in the middle of our neighborhood. Not only do the people that run this facility continue to disrespect our neighborhood with their hours upon hours of machine rumbling, equipment reverse "beeping" and days upon days of running jackhammers and other power equipment that rumbles through our neighborhood businesses and homes in the area.
The equipment also blows dust from the yard and concrete debris into the air and into our homes. The Laborer's Union also has equipment picked up, dropped off and moved at all hours of the morning (as early as 4:00 and 4:30 am). Several neighbors and I have tried to reach out and express our concerns to the person in charge only to be met with arrogance and no acceptance of blame. Only comments like... "You knew what you were getting into when you moved here" or "it must be the guys down the street". Not to mention the continual use of foul language throughout the days (10-20 feet from my fence line where my nine year old daughter plays. The students and staff of this training facility blast their music upon their arrival at 6:00 am. I have several other neighbors who are sick and tired of the disrespect and disregard this place has for our neighborhood and it's residents. This facility is a nuisance and is causing an unhealthy environment for our families and our neighborhood. Any help in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated.
