I contacted VDOT about this by email and phone last fall and got no response. I was asking them to put in a crosswalk at the traffic light at the end of the dirt path. I have tried to cross at that intersection (from the dirt path to the west side of Van Dorn St), and cars turning right honk at me and will not stop as I'm standing in the middle of the road trying to cross legally.
