I have seen an unending amount of impulsive people driving at an over the top speed. These two streets are populated with college students who may or may not respect the right of way. Today 09/20/2023 at 1900 I saw a horrible accident that involved 2 cars almost involving a 3rd car in the corner of Geduldig and Crestview. Please let me know who should I call to explain the need for speed bumps in this area. Most people use this corner to do u turns to go back to their dorm or school. Some thrill seekers use this street to speed up because is a hill. We really need speed bumps to deter people who drive over the speed limit for the safety of residents who live in Geduldig and Crestview.

I have email the above gentleman Manuel Cotto. He no longer works for the city of Bridgeport. An email response pointed me to email james.baraja@bridgeportct.gov for this issue. I did email him as I email our 134th city council Michelle Lyons regarding this issue. Incidentally she is cochair of Public safety and transportation committee. Please email both people and request a rapid solution to this problem . Her email. Michelle.Lyons@bridgeportct.gov. The other council person for our neighborhood is Amy Marie Vizzo-Paniccia her email AmyMarie.Vizzo-Paniccia@bridgeportct.gov, she is also co-chair for budget and appropriations and public safety and transportation.
I thank you all to help solve this issue in our neighborhood.
PS: I also have requested side walks for Geduldig ave. It is about time for people to do what they are paid to do in our city. We have children, older people or just anyone who are walking on that street needs a shred of safety.
