Warren is the 3rd largest city in the state - and it is forced to take on SEWAGE from Oakland County, one of the wealthiest, most affluent regions in the state. People want to use the Clinton River for recreation , but they CAN'T - because it is often polluted, contaminated and fouled from a region outside the c ounty borders of Macomb. Want people to move to Warren, live, recreate, work here ?

The laws need to change regarding ""spray-n-pray""" of sodium hypochlorite as a "Treatment" for sewage . It is antiquated, old, operation, and we all know chlorine ions KILL macroinvertebrates, fish, aquatic wildlife - if used extensively !

WARREN is inundated, aka flooded, by the combined piping of the 12TownsDrain project of the 1960's flowing under Dequindre Road - into our city. The GWK basin overflows over a dozen times, almost every year, for the past 5 decades. WHEN will it end ? Sewage, feces, poop forever and ever ? Spritzing it with bleach, still leaves it as sewage, feces, poop into the Clinton River. It's not a true WWTP like the City of Warren has. Time to tear the band-fix off, and attack the real problem

In case people didn't know where the Dequindre Interceptor goes - Dynamic Resources Company (DWSD) is located at 1400 Zug Island Rd, Detroit, MI 48209 and their phone number is (313) 633-7080. It is a VERY VERY long way from Troy, MI which contributes poop to it - and the Red Run in Warren.

How its all connected to Madison Heights, and then goes under Dequindre, into The City of Warren, Red Run Drain, on into the Clinton River

All quiet, no one speaks of INCREASED capacity, max volume, new contracts, bigger pipes ?
Warren continues to have flooding issues , decade after decade, and the 2 counties just say, Oh well !

CLOSE IT - it's never ever going to be addressed in my lifetime. I've given up on InfraStructure. People have lost thousands of dollars due to flooding, and no one has the political guts to rip up Oakland County and their @#$% poor stormwater system
