The problem is getting better. I very seldom find doggy waste in my yard. But some people feel as if they use the curb area they do not have to clean up behind their pet. I have a dog and I always clean-up behind my pet. During my daily walks I still see lots of dog waste, mainly from large dogs at the curb. The people who don't want to clean up behind their pets should definately use the assigned doggy waste areas. The area's are supplied with specially treated grass, doggy bags and a doggy waste trash can. The doggy areas are spread throughout the community. It not as bad during the winter months. but with spring approaching. Its manditory that we clean up behind our pets to keep our community beautiful. Most of the homes in our neighborhood sell between 650,000 and 1.3 million dollars. Why move in that kind of an area and not clean behind you pet. I'ave trained my dog to use my yard if necessary. There are many children in this area who love to go out and play. Its not fear to step in, slip on on fall in doggy waste while playing in their own yard. Often times its gets tracked into the house and could destroy very expensive carpeting and flooring. I also notice some people are not training their children to respect other's property by cleaning up behind your pet. I have instructed my children that it is not acceptable to not clean behind our dog. Especially if its someone else's property.
