Description

The pedestrian signal for people walking west on Shellmound on the south side of the street at Overland is still blocked and not visible. This has been an issue all during the railroad quiet zone construction for many months.

This should have been addressed from the start as part of the project's construction staging plan, but it's especially bad that it still wasn't addressed after being reported multiple times.

"Traffic safety" was used as an excuse for a bunch of bad design decisions as part of this project, per the railroad's insistence. But when the project results in an obscured walk signal for many months like this it really illustrates how hollow those stated concerns actually are.
