Description
This intersection is not good. Going west bound on 8 mile, traffic is often backed up where the left turn lanes do not take enough cars. Even if I am going straight I often get backed up for several lights waiting for the left turners to get out of the way.
Going eastbound, it is unclear where you should go to turn right onto haggerty vs. going through haggerty to I-275. Often a car is in the left lane coming over to get on I275 and nearly hitting cars that were in the right lane. I feel there should be an additional right turn lane and better signage so those going South on haggerty and those going to I275 are separate and know where to go.

Glad I came across this site. Was looking for a place to voice concerns.
This intersection is still a nightmare
For west-bound traffic I think that expanding the left turn lane will make a huge difference. Many people merge over to the right lane so they are not stuck waiting behind the line of cars waiting to turn left, which creates the backup.
And I agree that an additional right turn lane is needed for east bound traffic as many people in the right lane go straight to get on 275 south
