The litter on the Green is disgusting. Cigarette butts all over, overflowing trash cans, dirty clothes on the grass and the occasional lost shoe. All on the Upper Green, not lower, which looks pretty clean.

When this happen to a public space, the majority lose ownership, which devolves onto the vagrants. This is wrong. Homeless people living in a public park is not in the public's best interest. City Goverment, please address this issue, which disenfranchises taxpayers and repels money-spending visitors.

Shake Shack loves their floor to ceiling glass walled view of the Town Green and all the comings and goings of the city. Maybe this new presence will stir City Government to roust the sleepovers. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes corporate , rather than public interests, to get things done. Remember Broadway before Denali, Trailblazers, BandN, etc. More police presence on bike, horse and foot on Chapel in front of the Mall would also help to clear out the drug dealers. Lots of good folks waiting for buses and we need to protect them, too.

Plenty of thoughts about this situation on all fronts so the City of NH is aware.
