I walk this street all the time (I live up the street a ways) and I have yet been able to find this storage locker you speak of, and you have not posted a photo, so not sure what it looks like.
The closest thing I can see on that part of Merriewood (as shown on the map) is a covered motorcycle (on the right side heading "up hill" on Merriewood. But that is NOT a covered storage unit.
On the other hand, it is a vehicle that seems to be being stored on the street and has not moved for many many months. On that note, yes, this needs attention.
