Everyone who uses is one less car causing traffic, making our roads dangerous, and causing pollution. Keeping the trail clear all year benefis citizens, the municipalities, and the state.

It should most definitely be cleared during the winter. It should also be deiced so those who commute by bike to work on it, or who want to walk or otherwise enjoy the trail, can do so at any time of the year without worrying about wiping out.

I agree! I use this trail all the time for running and bike riding with my kids. Since Nemo, we haven't been able to do either of these. I won't risk my kids lives by doing them on roadsides, and that's the only option since sidewalks aren't completely cleared. Please clear the trail!

Why was this closed when it had 18 votes, and the other "duplicate issue" has 6? There should at least be a link to the duplicate issue! I'll see what happens when I try to change this status to open.

While the Hamden section still needs some work, the New Haven section of the trail looks quite good at this point. I think this issue should probably be closed.

It is closed but the trail is still not cleared or rideable. Huge piles of snow at crossings and entire sections still covered with snow.

We are closing snow issues. Our crew has been reassigned to other maintenance issues such as potholes, bulk trash. Thanks.
