I have a suggestion on making that levee wall more pleasing to look at. I'm sure this can easily be done. Why not plant trees into the rocks on the levee along the river side to block out the graffiti. You can plant a variety of tree for summer, spring and winter color. That wall is so nasty to look at and makes downtown very unattractive looking.

The weeds and"wild"trees are starting block to block the wall on the river side.Just hope the railroad doesnt need to remove these for rail safety

Yes it appears that somebody just scrawled some new garbage on that wall across from the projects in huge script. If this so called "artist" had intentions of creating something completely scary looking, he certainly succeeded. Here's to you Mr nothing better to do with your time graffitti man. Get a life.

I suggest we simply transplant the hundreds of trees and weeds that are 12 foot high & already having good root potential which are growing all over the roof top and side-walls of the Farrell building adjacent to North Main. Save big dollars but the Farrel owner may like to keep them there because they could be supporting the main structure.
Can we agree those containment barriers (without art-work) look better than the Farrel property ownership responsibilities reflected within that town?

why not put all the people on Olson Drive with no jobs (plenty of them) to work clenaing the wall up?

Tim, you want people getting a government check to work? Have you no heart?

"Why not plant trees on the flood control system's rocks?" The root system of a tree (assuming you can find one that doesn't need dirt to grow) would undermine the integrity of the wall.

Item has devolved into general criticism of people who live in the area.
