Thanks for your inquiry. The Engineering Department is working on the design and permit for a new wall/abutment. Unfortunately the original wall was not built on adequate footings so it is more than a simple repair but will be an entirely new wall.

We are also reviewing some of the erosion occurring along the pathway further down the park where on those lunar flood events the wall is breached. Have to hate sea level rise.
