This should have been reported to public safety 203 946-6316 as soon as it was noticed in case they are live or touching a live wire, then posted to alert others and to have a record it was called in. The post should mention it was called in. You do not know when the city may see a post

It was called in. It's not a electric wire, it's either cable or telephone.

Thank you for calling it in. I was told that even if a wire is cable or telephone it can still be a problem if it is touching another wire that may be electrical
