The south-east corner of Henry W. Dubois Drive and Church Street is Village of New Paltz owned property. It has no sidewalk connecting to the sidewalk the Briarwood Apartment developer installed on the south side of Henry W. Dubois Drive. At night, with no street lamp nearby for illumination when people coming from the bus station rolling luggage, all in dark clothing, step into the street where cars come zipping by at 40 mph. The village recently dug this corner up for a sewer main installation, but topped off the land and forgot the cherry.
