  I’m not sure I understand your request .
  How would you know which vehicles are the ones involved with the hit and run if the camera is set up at that intersection? Or are you suggesting we record every driver leaving the street and then conduct interviews with all those drivers?

  its a fairly straight section of the street where these accidents have occurred with parking only one one side. A telephone pole mounted camera pointed down the street could be able to see a sideswipe happen and better identify the vehicle while it is at the stop sign at the intersection after an incident is reported. there is already a speed limit radar sign further down the street as speeding down the street is common.
