This road is in rough shape. Growth on the sides of the road need to be trimmed back desperately and there are a couple sections where I do not even want to drive on my side of the road heading southbound due to numerous potholes! Please fix. This would be a great area to ride a bike or walk but there is no shoulder due to the growth and I don't think it would be too safe with cars avoiding potholes and potentially creating a dangerous situation.

The bums in the plaza specifically hanging out at Hannaford are disruptive. There is a woman named Barb with blond hair, her and her friends are constantly buying beer in and out all day and harrassing everyone for money or a ciggarette. There are also plenty of fist fights in the parking lot over their "camping site" right behind Hannaford in that little patch of woods. Not to mention the constant calls for ambulances because they have drank to much or took too many drugs and are passing out on the benches. Who do you think is paying for this?
138 Railroad Ave Kingston, NY 12401, USA - East Kingston
Just because no one lives on this road doesn't mean that people need to dump their garbage off the side of the road. People do like walking on this road. The rotting deer carcasses a few months back were especially pleasent..
Interstate 587 Kingston, NY - Ulster
Can we please get this stupid HUMP taken out of this roundabout?! What is its purpose? All it does is blocks motorists' view of oncoming traffic, and this is VERY dangerous when you can't see other vehicles coming. Why did they ever install this humongous MOUND in the middle of this roundabout anyway?
No other roundabout I've ever seen has a huge MOUND in the middle of it! Most of the ones I've ever seen have a low brick apron and a few little flowers or shrubs or even a lightpost or two in the middle, so you can at least see the other cars coming towards you! This huge HUMP doesn't let you see other cars coming around the turn until it's TOO LATE!!!
GET RID OF THE HUMP!!!

Why can't we keep the lawn in and around the traffic circle mowed and kept neat? It is embarassment for all of us when friends and business associates come to Kingston and the first thing they see is grass that is a foot tall in this area. Are times that tough that we can not afford to mow this area. This is the first thing that people see when coming to this area and must be kept up. Who is reponsible for this? The town? The city?
Boices Ln Kingston, NY - Lincoln Park
After the County repaved Boices Lane, it didn't do a very good job repainting the lane lines. There are no stop lines, and the lane lines extend farther into the intersection at Morton Blvd than they used to, so traffic isn't stopping where it should.
The worst part, though, is the lane lines on Boices Lane westbound between Morton Blvd and the train tracks. The left-turn lane has been truncated; it now backs up regularly, blocking traffic traveling straight from its lane. This, in turn, backs traffic up across the railroad tracks unnecessarily. The lanes are also still too narrow to comfortably hold vehicles; it's too bad this stretch of road wasn't widened slightly during the repave job to adequately accommodate the three westbound lanes.
The County needs to survey the traffic flow at this intersection and repaint the lanes accordingly, to avoid unnecessary traffic jams (and the risk of cars being hit by trains). It wouldn't hurt to paint in some stop-lines where the train crossing gates come down, to help people gauge where they need to stop in order not to be hit by the gates or a train.
955-959 Main St Kingston, NY 12401, USA - East Kingston
When traveling south on rte. 32 there is a illegal passing while turning into main st. East Kingston and it can be very dangerous when traffic is heavy or during inclement weather.

Many 55 MPH signs on NY State Route 32 northbound are missing, especially between Sottile Drive and Ulster Landing Road.
This causes drivers to mistakenly think this area is still 45 MPH, and motorists drive too slowly, holding up the traffic behind them, causing road rage.
Drivers ride the brakes down the hill because they have no idea that the speed limit is 55 MPH along this section.
This needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY in order to stop this needless confusion of drivers who don't know the proper speed they should be traveling!
