Traffic Safety (non-emergency) Reconnu300 Lakeside Dr Oakland CA 94612, United States - Downtown
I've found that cars commonly fail to yield to cyclists using the protected intersection to cross Lakeside drive from the cycletrack. This happens when the cars make a right on red onto Harrison street from Lakeside. Drivers are looking left for cars and are unable to see cyclists crossing from their right.
I think that disallowing right on red at this intersection would limit this issue.

Traffic Safety (non-emergency) Reconnu61st St & Lowell St Oakland, California - Santa Fe
There are often cars going above the speed limit & using Lowell as a way to 'cut the corner' to get to Stanford Ave from Market when heading south. This is problematic because 61st St. has bicycle traffic from the bike boulevard on the other side of Market St and it is difficult to see the traffic on Lowell from the east side of 61st st. because cars are often parked to the edge of the intersection on the east side of Lowell st.
A mini-roundabout, 4-way stop, etc. would likely go a long way to make this intersection safer.
