    The light to take a left from Dixwell onto Mather is TOOO short in duration. Today we waited for 3 light changes to get through as only 4 cars legally could get through the light. The line to turn left at Mather was backed up to the street to get into the second entrance of the post office, which made Dixwell 1.5 lanes rather than 2, a dangerous situation. This backup is caused BEFORE the apartment complex to the right on Mather is to full capacity AND before the apartment complex to the left on Mather is even finished construction. I hope that the left turn light will be extended and/or other entrances to quickly & safely get to Mather from Dixwell will be created.

    Trees between 93 Mather Street and 89 Mather Streets are needing trimming and/or removal. More than twice a year windy days cause the tree's branches to knock out the cable, among other issues. They are too close to the street (branches scratch tall trucks), and have also damaged the sidewalk which is used by children on bicycles/skates as well as mothers with strollers.
