    New pothole showed up this weekend. Can't see it from the stop sign on Pembroke in a CUV. I've hit it a couple times already as I'm focused on traffic making the left turn onto Whitney.

    Back when it was the rainy season, i thought the water table was coming out through this spot in the street. But this is either sewer water, (eww,) or drinking water. And if i recall correctly, leaky pipes often lead to sinkholes.

    This has been growing steadily over the last several weeks.

    A firebug apparently came through and set three separate garbage piles on fire. The weeds both outside the fence on Olympic and inside the fence of Elite Public School could easily have spread the fire to the 90-foot tall eucalyptus trees on the campus putting every home downwind to Pembroke in peril.

    Pavement on Pembroke welled up when water leak happened on Whitney. I was surprised the water crew did not fix this minor inconvenience that is now a significant tire hazard. I've encountered more than one vehicle in opposite "lane" as they approached the stop sign, impeding my progress completing right turn off of Whitney.
