Missing Street Light Archived10-12 1st Ave Waterford, NY 12188, USA - Saratoga CountyTwo yrs ago the street light on the corner of Clifton St and 1st Avenue was taken down off of the old telephone pole for a new pole to be installed. The street light sat on the ground by the base of the poles for a long time before it were removed. Both the new and old telephone poles are standing but no streetlight. This is at a 4 way intersection along a railraod crossing. This issue has been reported to the town but without any resolution to date. -
Grove St And River St Waterford, NY 12188, USA - Saratoga CountyComing from Grove St. to River St. the view is blocked by a garage on the left hand side of the turn. River St. is a one way street, which emboldens drivers to not slow down for the blind turn. Anyone that happens to be biking, skating or walking up River St. toward Grove St. is in dire danger of getting hit head on by an oncoming driver. There is no sidewalk on River St. so pedestrians must use the roadway. There are no warning signs or speed bumps to alert the drivers to wake up and slow down. -
