Central Park in Downtown Superior is being built as part of an agreement between the Town of Superior and the developer, Ranch Capital. The developer (RC) agreed to construct Central Park per the Final Development Plan with 20% of the construction funded by the Town and 80% funded by the developer. This was part of the development agreement that was approved in 2013/2014. The build-out of Superior Town Center is in the final stages and construction of Central Park is dependent on the timeline of surrounding development projects and on the sale of certain properties in Town Center to fund this project. RC is projecting to start the construction of Central Park in 2024. I hope this helps to explain the long timeline for the project. We are all looking forward to the park getting underway.

I have a post from the Mayor of Superior stating that early 2024 is the expect date of COMPLETION for Central Park. What has changed in the last 4 months to delay this project even longer?

Which specific projects need to be complete before the park construction can start? The Thrive Homes should be done in a few weeks ( I can see the last Thrive home from my window) and they are the only one using the park for staging their equipment.

If the developer is funding 80% why do they need to wait until the town provides the last 20% before starting?
