Anytime you see this happen save the mail as evidence at to who is dumping there and take it to CSS dept of the police dept and they will take if from there. They are located at Florida and Wilson ave right across the street from the Yacht club.

Thank you for reporting! Public Works has an illegal dumping team whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. On average this team removes 1,200 pounds of trash from public property every day. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.

I took the information, including mailing label, to the CSS dept this afternoon. I was told that they couldn't do anything about it except notify the owner of the property where the stuff was dumped. Also that that dumping is not illegal in Vallejo.

I hope you wrote down the name of the person you spoke to because none of that is true. I have personally taken just such things down there and they do go after them. Who did you speak to?

I didn't get his name--just a guy in a uniform, around 2 pm on Thursday.
