I am very appreciative that the city responded so quickly to my request for repair of the potholes/sinkholes on our street. Repair has taken place by filling in "most" of the holes on the 300 block of North Oakley. These same holes have been filled in on prior occasions. Perhaps the filling in is truly just a temporary fix (the holes can be found from Grand Avenue south to Lake Street) since the city has filled them in at least two times now...and maybe 3. Hopefully, the city will consider finally repaving this street when the cold whether subsides and the warmer spring weather allows for the proper repair. Several other streets in the neighborhood have been repaved as opposed to numerous filling in of the holes. Obviously, the repaving is the solution.
