Several weeks ago the City put out temporary traffic control barriers and improved signage to help with the the issue. We would like any feedback you may have as we consider permanent options that can be installed in the spring.

The temporary barrier reduced the number of cars going the wrong way. However there are still many that do so regardless (we often see the same cars every day), it would be helpful to have similar barriers at 43rd st & 43rd pl. Some of the “do not enter” signs are slightly twisted as well for those who go the wrong way unintentionally (as opposed to those who do so knowingly and regularly)

Same issue is still happening on a daily basis. And they speed through. Honestly the barriers should just be taken down because they have become a task for us to put them back when cars or large trucks push them to the side (which happens all the time).

Is there any update on this issue? It’s gotten worse with school back in session, and parents and students now also going the wrong way!

I have passed the concerns on to the commander of our patrol division. We will do periodic checks to see if we can impact the driving concerns.
