@ The CEO, I think you should respect the posters of this website and realize that your stupid comments should be kept in your head because I doubt anyone cares.

This is another issue that can be solved by taking the plate # and calling it in to BYLAW ENFORCEMENT.

PAGuy - as stated in the link you provide, the "traffic unit" was formed to "reduce injury, accidents, and death on our roadways." Please explain what that has to do with annoying neighbors with a stereo? You may be right, the traffic unit wouldn't waste their time with drugs - but I don't think they would waste their time with stereo either.

actually... Mr. Hermiteowitch, when I called into the bylaw # listed in the phone book they said that they do not handle vehicular noise complaints. Thanks for the "info" though.

@ The CEO, the noise coming from the cars is on the roadways and the volume of the music which inturn is bothering the neighbourhood is distracting the drivers. I spoke with City Manager Robert Cotterill and it is infact a situation that the traffic unit is supposed to enforce.

No one is crying about anything. I merely posted to get some opinion regarding the topic and perhaps to have people help lean on the correct departments a little.

This one time, there was a big little truck driving by and it was emitting loud music that had some ripping rhymes and some rhymes that were ripping. How about the Beasty Boys? Would you prefer to listen to their ripping rhymes? Don't you want to hear someone rhyme, because they rhyme when they rip and they rip when they rhyme.

If the vehicle is from the neighbor hood and regularly drives past a complainant, it can be filed as a general noise complaint. If the offending vehicle were on a different street and the TRAFFIC section caught him, it would be a traffic distraction/nuisance file. I've been ticketed for both...

PAguy - how old are you anyway that loud music bothers you? I may seem angry but you seem like the kind of guy that just wants something to complain about. As far as I am concerned this entire post is "useless." You've already taken matters into your own hands and called the right department but still came here to announce it? Were you just looking for someone else to chat with who shares your passion of complaining?

Hell, the neighbourhood kids are trying to burn down our gargage and the police won't do anything about it, I highly doubt they give a crap about loud music.
