Some has also commented on issue 1475259 that this a violation of muni-code 12.60.40 concerning bike sales. OPD needs to enforce the laws. I f nothing run them thought the system give citations and a lot of community service.

ok, so I called the number above in the acknowledgement (510-615-5566) and they told me what I suspected, that we are wasting our time reporting many things to DPW, which are out of their area. The nice woman who answered the phone number told me that this is a Police Dept problem. She gave me the OPD # 510-777-3333 - I called, spoke to Dispatcher #26, Leslie, very helpful. She took a report & also gave me the email for Community Policing Communitypoilicingbeat7@oaklandnet.com - so I have sent in an email report to them essentially begging them to do something for this area immediately surrounding St Andrews & specially the stolen bike sales group obstructing the sidewalk on Filbert. Things are getting worse on Linden, we now have a drug operating out of his parked car day & night and some of the longest term residents are planning to move out of the neighborhood due to the complete neglect by the City
