Description

The daily backup on Green over the Shaker Rapid Station is getting worse. Ever since the roadwork was done a few years ago, the left turn signals are pathetically bad, especially when trying to turn into Shaker East from Green South. Why paint a stop line but not bother to extend the vehicle sensors **to** the stop line? Has the city ever bothered to consult with Beachwood to find out how their signal programming of Shaker & Richmond is so successful? The only time there is a backup is during evening rush hour when there are hundreds of vehicles coming off Chagrin Blvd. and (ultimately) I-271. The intersections are similar....why does Beachwood's work, but Shaker's is so dismal?
