The south end of Whiting Street in Winsted is a wide and very dangerous one. I have had close calls many times with so many people making a U-turn (probably because you cannot turn left out of Dunkin Donuts, so people turn right and then make a U turn). Also, people are speeding West on Route 44 and veer right onto Whiting Street at a high speed. It is also the intersection to the 2 entrances to Strong Terrace. This should be corrected for everyones safety.
