Now that you mention it, there were two police cars on St John near the intersection with Hughes Place around 6:30 AM Sunday. I didn't see any activity but I wonder if this was related to this person being around.

No, those officers were visiting on a separate issue. Apparently, they received a noise/domestic dispute complaint at 3am Sunday morning and didn't show up until three hours later. As I said, it was a separate issue, but it serves as an example of realistic expectations we ought to have for the police.
