Description

The street slopes badly infront of these two properties and when it rains there is a very large pool of water that forms and has nowhere to go. The pool eventually seeps into the underground through cracks etc in the street which will eventually cause a sinkhole.

The streets department simply dumped highway blacktop in the area in an attempt to keep the water out of the sunken area. This is not a fix. There needs to be a sewer there. There was a water main break on my street this past week and there was a large puddle about 8' in diameter and 4" deep that accumulated there as thus is the lowest part of the street. Even the water department guys that were fixing the main awknowledged that there needs to he a sewer there before there is a major sinkhole.
