There have been MANY requests for this location to be cleaned up over the last several weeks. I have seen other locations nearby cleaned up quite quickly. I don't know if there is some sort of dispute with the developer of this property but it is ridiculous that this location has been allowed to come to this state. Whatever the dispute is, it is the residents that are paying for it. Figure it out. Clean it up and charge them, whatever. There is trash and garbage dumped all up and down this block. It seems to me that it is a public health and safety hazard. PLEASE CLEAN THIS UP!!!!

Agreed!!!! Thank you for your comment!!!! Maybe if we all keep complaining something will be done! I'm trying to figure out a way to prevent future dumping! Any ideas or advice are welcome to my email....also I'll be posting information for a group of citizens here in our neighborhood that meet every 2 months to discuss these kinds of issues. If voices in numbers don't work we can always rally as neighbors with trucks & shovels...clean up our streets & dump it @ city halls doorstep. I prefer the latter...

Hi Shalom. I'm definitely interested in discussing ways to deter dumping. I've been looking at what has worked in other cities and gotten some info. I also suggest reading the city auditors performance reports for the Public Works Agency and her recommendations. Looks like they finally cleaned it up today! My comments were a bit late then but the main thing is that it's cleaned up for now. The area had been getting a little better for a while but lately the dumping has gotten really bad.
