الوصف
City bus stop and housing development growth create a need for a traffic light at Capri and Northwest Highway. Pedistrians and outbound (west) vehicular traffic must cross Northwest Highway unprotected at the top of a hill where many vehicles routinely speed in excess of posted limits. Dangereous and can be easily limited by the installation of a street traffic light (which can even be button/pressure sensitive to account for as needed safety).

Thanks for posting this, Mike. This sounds like a dangerous situation.
Speeding kills thousands of Americans every year and can be reduced or eliminated by redesigning the traffic system and road geometry.
Do you have documentation of any collisions that have occured here?

Oncor does not install traffic signals. Please contact the local city office or the Texas Department of Transportation.
Thank you,
