Description

Individual illegally running Bussiness in residential area. Using parking spaces in the street as permanent space. Box truck and trailer permanently parked never move . The City of Millbrae allows residents to operate a business from their home once a City Business License and Home Occupation Permit have been obtained. This type of commercial business activity from a residence is described in Section 10-1.201 of the Millbrae City Code as a Home Occupation use.

Because residential areas are designated for peaceful home life type atmosphere and commercial activities create noise, parking and traffic problems, Home Occupations are subject to the following conditions:

1. No advertising signs. 2. No displays. 3. No stock or commodity stored or sold on the premises. 4. No customers. 5. No parking or business vehicles other than a private vehicle used by the dwelling occupant for transportation to and from work. No parking of employees or customers vehicles. 6. No mechanical or electrical equipment designed to be used in connection with a business use other than that normally found in a home that is necessary or convenient for domestic purposes.
