the lights at haskell and elm/main are terribly out of sync. the green light on haskell at elm is much too short and traffic backs up past simpson street. meanwhile there is very little traffic on elm to warrant such a long red light on haskell. the backup continues at haskell and main becuase the two sets of lights are not in sync with one another.
